Health Analytics Engagement Vice President

We are seeking an innovative human capital analytics leader to join our dynamic team.

Chicago, New York, Atlanta or proximity to an Aon location is required, strong virtual candidates may be considered

What the day will look like

  • Serve as the solution leader for the development and commercialization of specialized analytics capabilities, as well as other health analytics, maintaining or leading the development and implementation of new products and solutions
  • Lead consultant for advanced analytics projects and initiatives. Ensure high-quality and timely delivery that exceed expectations.
  • Stakeholder alignment: Collaborate with stakeholders, including executives, clients, internal teams, legal, marketing and industry experts, to gather requirements for new analytics solutions.
  • Prioritization: Prioritize features and functionalities based on their value, feasibility, and alignment with strategic objectives. This requires balancing competing demands and making data-driven decisions to maximize the impact of the solutions.
  • Innovation: Stay current on emerging trends and industry developments, propose new capabilities or suggestions to revamp existing capabilities to meet emerging client needs. Stay up to date on upcoming vendors and startups in the healthcare space
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analytics engineers, actuaries, and consultants, to develop and maintain analytics solutions. This involves facilitating communication, resolving conflicts, and ensuring alignment across teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
  • Engage with clients and Aon colleagues to gather feedback, demonstrate prototypes, and solicit input for future enhancements
  • Participate in new business discussions with prospective clients.
  • Showcase and present on analytics capabilities and market trends at both internal and external events

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • 10+ years of experience in management consulting, health analytics, and/or employee benefits consulting with a proven track record of innovation and leadership in the health analytics space
  • Demonstrated executive storytelling experience with ability to effectively translate technical details and advanced analytics to internal and external executive audiences
  • Ability to lead multiple analytics workstreams to deliver on senior executive priorities, managing team to meet deadlines and ensuring high-quality delivery
  • Demonstrated experience leading client conversations regarding benefits strategy and health analytics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders, including data scientists, actuarial leaders, and executive leadership
  • Strong familiarity with employer benefits, actuarial modeling, data science, and advanced analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience leading complex projects with various stakeholders including managing legal, marketing and related needs

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Informatics, Statistics, or related field preferred

Pay Transparency Laws

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $170,000 to $210,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive [an annual discretionary bonus] [production incentives] in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
