Position Purpose
The position requires reading and evaluating Geisel School of Medicine MD program admissions applications. The application reading season is a crucial and busy time for the admissions office, so successful candidates will possess strong time management and reading/writing skills.
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Strong reading/writing skills.
  • Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse community.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree.
  • Experience in higher education, counselling, or admissions.

Key Accountabilities


Key Accountabilities

  • Attends training sessions regarding the reading process in July.
  • Participates fully in the application review process from July through January.
  • Reading and evaluating MD applications to the Geisel School of Medicine; reviews application materials online.
  • Commit to reading 800 applications (reading approximately 115 applications/month for 7 months).
  • Has availability to attend meetings or trainings during office hours (remotely).
