App Security Architect

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri, USA (hybrid)

Job Summary

The App Security Architect will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing security solutions for applications within our hybrid work model. With a focus on Sailpoint Identity Now and Cloud Security the candidate will ensure robust protection of digital assets. This position requires 10 to 14 years of experience and offers a day shift schedule with no travel requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive security strategies for applications to safeguard against potential threats
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into application design
  • Implement Sailpoint IdentityNow solutions to enhance identity management and access control
  • Monitor and assess cloud security protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements
  • Provide technical guidance to development teams on secure coding practices
  • Analyze security incidents and develop response strategies to mitigate risks
  • Design security architecture frameworks that align with organizational goals
  • Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial
  • Oversee the deployment of security tools and ensure their effective operation
  • Facilitate training sessions to raise awareness of security best practices among staff
  • Prepare detailed reports on security performance and present findings to stakeholders
  • Ensure all security measures are scalable and adaptable to future technological advancements

Qualifications

  • Possess extensive experience in Sailpoint IdentityNow and Cloud Security solutions
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills to assess security needs and implement effective solutions
  • Exhibit proficiency in designing security architectures for complex applications
  • Have a solid understanding of industry compliance standards and regulations
  • Show capability in conducting thorough security audits and vulnerability assessments
  • Display excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Hold a degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
  • Preferably have certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
  • Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
  • Show commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest security trends.
