App Security Architect Location: Saint Louis, Missouri, USA (hybrid) Job Summary The App Security Architect will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing security solutions for applications within our hybrid work model. With a focus on Sailpoint Identity Now and Cloud Security the candidate will ensure robust protection of digital assets. This position requires 10 to 14 years of experience and offers a day shift schedule with no travel requirements. Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive security strategies for applications to safeguard against potential threats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into application design
- Implement Sailpoint IdentityNow solutions to enhance identity management and access control
- Monitor and assess cloud security protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements
- Provide technical guidance to development teams on secure coding practices
- Analyze security incidents and develop response strategies to mitigate risks
- Design security architecture frameworks that align with organizational goals
- Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial
- Oversee the deployment of security tools and ensure their effective operation
- Facilitate training sessions to raise awareness of security best practices among staff
- Prepare detailed reports on security performance and present findings to stakeholders
- Ensure all security measures are scalable and adaptable to future technological advancements
Qualifications
- Possess extensive experience in Sailpoint IdentityNow and Cloud Security solutions
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills to assess security needs and implement effective solutions
- Exhibit proficiency in designing security architectures for complex applications
- Have a solid understanding of industry compliance standards and regulations
- Show capability in conducting thorough security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Display excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Hold a degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Preferably have certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
- Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
