About the role

As a Program Manager you will make an impact by lead the end-to-end migration project, ensuring successful execution of the data warehouse move from Teradata to Databricks. This role requires strong technical expertise in data warehousing, cloud computing, and project management, along with outstanding communication and partner coordination abilities. You will be a valued member of the AIA team and work closely with teammates and customers.

In this role, you will:

Develop and manage a detailed migration plan, including timelines, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.

Oversee the technical aspects of the migration, including data transformation, pipeline development, and system integration.

Communicate project status, address concerns, and build consensus with various collaborators, including business, technical, and executive teams.

Manage resources (personnel, budget, and tools) effectively to ensure the project stays on schedule and within budget.

Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and report on project performance to collaborators.

Ensure the quality and accuracy of migrated data and applications.

Facilitate knowledge transfer to internal teams to ensure long-term sustainability of the migrated system.

What you need to have to be considered
  • 15+ years of experience in an IT related role
  • In depth knowledge of Data Warehouse, cloud computing and project management.
  • Extensive experience with data warehousing platforms (e.g., Teradata, Databricks), data migration tools, and data transformation techniques.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Goggle Cloud) particularly Databricks and its ecosystem.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale, complex projects, including planning, execution, and closeout.
  • Strong understanding of SQL, Python (and possibly PySpark), and data pipeline tools.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until June 29, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $140,000- $165,000 UDS depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
