Ping Onboarding Process Engineer

Location: Anywhere in United States, remote

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a comprehensive migration strategy for transitioning from the existing IAM system to PingFederate and PingID.
  2. Collaborate closely with application owners and IT teams to integrate existing applications with PingFederate and PingID.
  3. Customize PingFederate to simulate the existing IAM system features, including configuring authentication flows, authorization policies, and user directories.
  4. Migration of identity data, user profiles, and access control policies to the new platform while ensuring data integrity and security.
  5. Ensure Authentication Services comply with industry standards and best practices, such as SAML, OIDC/OAuth, FIDO2.
  6. Apigee API gateway integration with Ping.
  7. Create and execute test plans to validate the migration, ensuring all identity services function as expected post-migration. Address and resolve any issues that arise during testing.
  8. Document all configurations, customizations, and the migration process to provide a comprehensive reference for future maintenance and troubleshooting.

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. At least 7 years of experience in Identity & Access Management, with a minimum of 3 years specifically focused on Ping Identity solutions - PingFederate and PingID.
  2. Strong understanding of SiteMinder architecture, policies, user management, and integration mechanisms.
  3. Knowledge of ITIL or other ITSM frameworks.
  4. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position [$85,000 to $134,000] depends on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
