Ping Onboarding Process Engineer Location: Anywhere in United States, remote Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive migration strategy for transitioning from the existing IAM system to PingFederate and PingID.
- Collaborate closely with application owners and IT teams to integrate existing applications with PingFederate and PingID.
- Customize PingFederate to simulate the existing IAM system features, including configuring authentication flows, authorization policies, and user directories.
- Migration of identity data, user profiles, and access control policies to the new platform while ensuring data integrity and security.
- Ensure Authentication Services comply with industry standards and best practices, such as SAML, OIDC/OAuth, FIDO2.
- Apigee API gateway integration with Ping.
- Create and execute test plans to validate the migration, ensuring all identity services function as expected post-migration. Address and resolve any issues that arise during testing.
- Document all configurations, customizations, and the migration process to provide a comprehensive reference for future maintenance and troubleshooting.
Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of experience in Identity & Access Management, with a minimum of 3 years specifically focused on Ping Identity solutions - PingFederate and PingID.
- Strong understanding of SiteMinder architecture, policies, user management, and integration mechanisms.
- Knowledge of ITIL or other ITSM frameworks.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
