Job Title: Senior Financial Reporting Analyst Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid) Company Type: Large Publicly Traded Company Overview: Our client, a well-established and publicly traded company headquartered in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join their high-performing team. Key Responsibilities: As a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's financial reporting and compliance functions. Key duties include: Preparing and reviewing SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, etc.) Conducting monthly financial reviews and variance analysis Addressing complex accounting issues related to equity, debt, and derivatives Ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies Performing technical accounting research and documentation Supporting process improvement initiatives across reporting functions Providing ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to senior leadership Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess: CPA designation (required) Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience (Big 4 or national firm preferred) Experience working with SEC-registered clients Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting principles Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated career progression and a stable work history A proactive mindset and a desire for long-term career growth Additional Information: Work Arrangement: Hybrid (must be based in the Atlanta, GA area) Compensation: Competitive salary + bonus + benefits Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
