Responsibilities

The individual selected for this position will support the Customer's organization responsible for cyber activities, analysis, and reporting. This includes providing Group-level, Front Office Systems Integration (SI), and Executive Officer/Action Office support. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide direct support/assistance to the Group Chief and Deputy-including schedule management, deconfliction, and coordination across the organization.
  • Be the focal point for responding to tasking/actions assigned to the Group; track all incoming actions to closure; coordinate with Division/Branches and across the Group to ensure timely delivery of coordinated responses.
  • Work closely with the Chief of Staff to support other high-visibility projects and activities.
  • Support the Group Chief and Deputy, as necessary, by providing background information and materials in support of mission-related activities and briefings.
  • Collaborate/coordinate with Center-level action and communication officers, as necessary.
  • Assist with meeting preparation; provide background and reference information and materials; facilitate meetings as required.
  • Provide back-up support to the Chief of Staff and other Front Office support personnel, as necessary, for logistics support, office management, etc.
  • Create/deliver briefings to officers at all levels of seniority; create/edit/coordinate briefing materials, as necessary.
  • Coordinate with internal and external customers/stakeholders.
  • Continually interface with executive-level management, requiring planning, presentation, and briefing of information.
  • Manage the Group's space allocation/utilization across multiple locations.
  • Manage the Group's personnel arrival/departure processes and procedures; and other business process workflows, as necessary.
  • Serve as Communications Officer, including collection/coordination of highlights for submittal in accordance with established guidelines and timelines; external and internal communications across the workforce, including coordination with Center-level Communications Team for information sharing and reporting, as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline.
    • BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7
  • Ability to fully coordinate master project schedules.
  • Ability to coordinate information flow between all programs and organizational managers.
  • Ability to establish functional and technical specifications and standards, solve hardware and software interface problems, define input/output parameters, and ensure integration of the entire system or subsystem.
  • Provides a total systems perspective including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies, and requirements of hardware and software components.

Desired:

  • Demonstrated schedule and project management experience, including prioritization and de-confliction of events, meetings, deadlines, etc.
  • Demonstrated Action Item Management expertise-tracking, coordination of responses, report/metrics, etc.; expert knowledge of the Customer's tasking system is a plus.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills; ability to quickly evaluate incoming taskings and identify potentially impacted components.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences.
  • Analytic skills sufficient to analyze complicated and/or sensitive information to address moderately complex mission-related issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated business and political acumen.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Tool Suite.
  • Self-starter; proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to test and evaluate hardware and software to determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing systems.
  • Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.
