Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

This position is part of the Global Services business unit that is responsible for owning and operating the bank's offshore and outsourced assets. As a leader for the Global Services Program Office ("GSPO"), this role is responsible for overseeing a collection of strategic changes to grow, manage, and provide business insights for FCB's global services locations primarily First Citizens India ("FCI") while ensuring alignment with the Global Services strategic goals and objectives.

This position is responsible for ensuring FCB's leadership focus and management systems are cohesively applied to the integration, growth, and evolution of FCI. This position plays a key role in ensuring FCB's offshoring efforts are successful.


Responsibilities

Global Operating Strategy - Responsible for defining, evolving and managing GSPO's entire lifecycle (Strategy, Demand Management, Transition Management and Performance Measurement).

  • Be a bridge and champion for global functions to help them plan and execute on their offshoring needs and building of new capabilities in India.
  • Prioritize and manage demand for offshore resources across a broad range of functions and establish a multi-year roadmap for the growth of offshore entity.

Operational Governance

  • Own the portfolio of changes, from intake to prioritization, execution, and reporting and in alignment with the bank's strategic objectives. Continue to build the GSPO team, processes and standards to establish the team's foundation to grow, evolve and support the business.
  • Own and supervise the transition of work items by keeping track of the intake lifecycle from demand to steady state by helping establish timelines, expectations, and educating the process owners at the bank as well as the GDC.
  • Identify roadblocks to effective transition and partner with enabling functions at both ends to navigate the smooth transition of processes
  • Develop and oversee a process / service inventory for work done offshore
  • Report on a set of KPIs that are representative of overall GDC performance in partnership with the GDC strategy and planning team.
  • Track key metrics, spot trends, and measure GSPO portfolio and its performance through Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews.

Business Support - Partner with various business functions and demonstrate strong partnership and awareness for their function's strategy, objectives, and goals.

  • Demonstrate strong relationship management, change management, negotiation skills and organizational awareness

Managerial Functions - Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of team members. Maximizes team achievements by providing mentorship and professional development

Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate risks in workforce strategies and develop risk mitigation plans
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and industry standards.
  • Be a risk management champion and partner with first and second lines of defense to mitigate any risks that could impact changes or risk profile
  • Effectively partner with Internal Audit and Regulators as needed. Have experience and ability to risks, controls, and gaps and its mitigation plans.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in Program Management and India operations

OR

High School Diploma or GED and 14 years of experience in Program Management and India operations

Preferred Education: MBA or equivalent

Preferred Area of Study: Business ManagementPreferred

Area of Experience: Finance, Operations or Information Technology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Program management,
  • Ability to establish, monitor and enhance large, complex processes and inputs across multiple stakeholders,
  • Strategic workforce planning
  • Experience working with outsourcing/offshoring operations
  • Ability to manage and coach both people and processes

If hired in North Carolina, the base pay for this position is generally between $247140 and $329,520. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
