What you will do
Johnson Controls ACVS (Access Control Video Surveillance) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cloud Development Manager to oversee multiple cloud development teams and play a key role in leading our overall cloud delivery initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in software engineering, strong knowledge of cloud technologies, and a proven track record in team leadership.The ideal candidate will be able to commute to the Westford, MA, office, but we may consider remote for the right person!

How you will do it

Lead multiple teams of software engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of cloud-based applications.
Collaborate with product management and key stakeholders to define and prioritize the team's objectives.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and quality.
Mentor and develop team members, providing career guidance and professional growth opportunities.

Ensure adherence to best practices for software development and cloud operations.

What you will need
Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Proven experience in building scalable cloud-native applications using C# and .NET Core.

Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.

Proven experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Strong understanding of DevOps principles and technologies.

Experience with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes).

Understand cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks

Excellent communication and leadership skills.
