Health Educator PPH-Domestic-Core-IZ Full Time 85115BR Job Summary The Health Educator III plans, develops, implements, and evaluates statewide immunization education and training projects to improve immunization levels. The Health Educator III coordinates statewide immunization education campaigns and strategies with providers, local health departments and agencies serving vulnerable populations, including ethnic/minority community groups. The Health Educator III serves as a technical authority in the area of community health education and health communications. Overall, this position requires creative administrative and organizational skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and the ability to function independently and within a team. The incumbent must have a strong background in public health, health communications, familiarity with medical terminolgy and research methods, along with project management skills. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $80,200 - $120,300 (Annual Rate). It integrates UCSF expertise in all of the health, social, and biological sciences, and focuses that expertise on pressing issues in global health. IGHS works with partners in countries throughout the world to achieve these aims. IGHS seeks to improve health worldwide, especially in developing countries, through research that informs policy.
