Summary:

Provide distribution services to Domestic and International Customers. Purpose and function is the supervision of Associates who fulfill orders for medical products. Responsible for supervising and coordinating the job duties of non-exempt Associates. Assist in staffing decisions, resolve performance management issues and train and develop Associates.

Responsibilities:

Lean Culture



  • Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean principles to streamline shipping processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
  • Training: Educate team members on Lean methodologies and encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.


SAP ECC or S4/HANA Utilization



  • Manage Shipping Processes: Utilize SAP ECC or S4/HANA to oversee and manage shipping operations, ensuring accurate and timely data entry and tracking.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper documentation of all shipping activities within the SAP system.
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze reports related to shipping performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics using SAP tools.


Safety and Quality Programs



  • Compliance: Ensure all shipping activities comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Training: Conduct regular safety training sessions and quality assurance workshops for the shipping team.
  • Monitoring: Regularly inspect shipping operations to identify potential safety hazards and quality issues and take corrective actions as needed.


Associate Administration



  • Policy Compliance: Uphold consistent application of both Global and Local Company policies including administering appropriate corrective actions to ensure compliance.
  • Documentation: Accurately maintain and organize records of all corrective actions, ensuring proper documentation and timely communication.
  • Feedback: Deliver constructive feedback to associates to support policy adherence, encourage professional growth, and enhance overall performance.


General Supervisor Duties



  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of Hollister Associates, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Scheduling: Develop and manage work schedules to meet shipping deadlines and operational demands.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and support to team members.


Additional Responsibilities



  • Communication: Liaise with other departments, transportation companies, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth shipping operations.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues related to shipping delays, inventory discrepancies, or other operational challenges.
  • Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining timely and accurate shipping processes.


Essential Functions of the Role:



  • Data Analytics
  • Excellent Computer Skills (MS Office, SAP)
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to work on feet for extended periods of time
  • Communicate both verbally / written at a professional level
  • Lifting, walking, carrying, bending often


Work Experience Requirements:



  • Number of Overall Years Necessary: 3-5
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience preferred.
  • 3 years distribution center operations.


Education:



  • Bachelor's Degree required.


Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge:



  • Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt certification preferred.
  • Computer systems (Microsoft office, SAP)
  • Budgeting
  • Project management
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
  • Public speaking

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.
The Company also provides a unique Benefit of Employee Share Ownership Program (BESOP) program based on earnings and length of service.
