JOB SUMMARY: BI Team Lead will have significant impact on the execution of future Business Intelligence projects for the organization. You will manage Qlik and Tableau/Business Objects developers team and be responsible for the timely creation and distribution of BI Analytics and self-service reporting using Qlik Sense/NPrinting/Tableau/Business Objects and any other BI tools used in future. lead development and unit testing. This position will also be involved in supporting existing SQL objects and working with multiple databases when required. Fundamental to successful implementation of self-service analytics capabilities for our clients, this role will assist in creating the general infrastructure for reporting and analytics needs for the company.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Research, develop, and test reports and Qlik Sense Apps.
2. End-to-end development of new Qlik Sense apps and modification of existing apps. 3. Create new Pixel Perfect and Excel reports and modify existing reports using NPrinting. 4. Identify the most impactful layout and presentation of key metrics and translate that vision into easy to use self-service reports or apps. 5. Experience with writing complex SQLs and creating database objects like Oracle procedures, functions, packages, views. 6. Analyze users' needs and design report(s)/apps(s) and other self-service tools as necessary. 7. Manage day-to-day tasks for the team and allocate new tasks and make sure team is delivering on time. 8. Maintain and debug code as problems arise. 9. Evaluate new and existing software updates to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade existing versions and improve performance. 10. Coordinate cross-functional projects as assigned and interact with all areas of the organzation to achieve timely results. 11. Consult with stakeholders on project status and advise them about technical issues. 12. Manage a team of software engineers on specific project(s). 13. Develop and maintain the development project plan. 14. Work with other teams to communicate requirements on all projects. 15. Track progress of projects against expectations set by the business and department. 16. Select, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of department. 17. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments. 18. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements. 19.
