** This position is an onsite position based out of our Richmond, VA location **

About you

As a Revenue Accountant, you are responsible for recording tenant receivable activity to the appropriate accounting system of record. Using office automated systems to input data, generate reports, conducting specialized research projects and responding to inquiries.

In this role, you will

  • You take a positive, customer-centric approach with everyone you work with.

  • You ensure that tenant billings and payments for assigned properties are processed timely and accurately in accordance with established policies and procedures.

  • You communicate and collaborate effectively with all partners.

  • You coordinate cash management activities.

What you will bring

  • Post-secondary education in accounting or business.

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of progressive accounts receivable or accounting experience.

  • Diligent and excellent organizational skills.

Bonus skills and experience

  • Experience with Excel, Word and other accounting software (YARDI preferred).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with high volume accounts receivable departments.
