Your Impact As An Account Specialist I

As an Account Specialist I for the Wrap Up Team, our job is to keep various Controlled Insurance Programs (CIP) running efficiently. We ensure the clients' requirements are met by working with their contractors to submit the accurate documentation and paperwork for their work on the jobsites. We make certain projects are moving along as scheduled. Attention to detail is required in this position. Assisting these subcontractors from the beginning to end of the CIP program is what we are here to do.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Routinely and effectively collaborate with local Aon office account executives, client contractors and carriers to ensure client needs are being met
  • Setup new projects/policies and manage renewals, extensions, and terminations of policies/projects
  • Obtain all Wrap Up forms in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with contractors to acquire missing or incomplete forms
  • Verify the data contained in received Wrap Up forms is reasonable and accurate
  • Ensure system of record (AonWrap, Bridge & Broker Desktop) is accurate and current to ensure outputs and client deliverables will be produced according to guidelines and policy detail
  • Assess the quality and completeness or delinquency of offshore partner team member' activities
  • Receive and place calls from/to contractors and carriers to resolve problems in a proactive manner
  • Provide quality checks on data entered and accurately log errors
  • Finalize contractor insurance credits and review offshore staff's performance in calculating those credits
  • With assistance from senior team members, address, and complete special client projects
  • Ability to work from 10am - 7pm (CST)

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Entry level opportunity for person with office experience; construction administration, commercial insurance, or construction wrap up Insurance experience a plus; and/or work experience that includes bookkeeping or accounting are helpful
  • Must have strong math competence to manually check insurance calculations
  • Must maintain appropriate insurance brokers license or obtain within 6 months of hire
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with external and internal clients on client servicing activities. Effective telephone skills are a must to achieve desired results
  • Strong digital literacy is a must, including Excel skills to import/export data
  • Successfully operates in a fast-paced output driven environment that requires staff members to multi-task, react quickly and perform tasks that are not routine
  • This role will typically work West Coast business hours (Pacific Time)

Education:

  • High school graduate or higher

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $50,000 - $55,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
