A Clinical Informaticist I supports enterprise clinical information systems to enhance cost-effective, high-quality, efficient, and safe patient care. They assist physicians, nurses, and other clinicians in resolving issues related to electronic health records (EHR) and other clinical applications.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Clinical Informaticist I: $70k- $74k

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Clinical Informaticist I Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain and optimize clinical information systems to ensure they support patient care.
  • Provide support to physicians, nurses, and other clinicians in resolving issues related to the electronic health record (EHR) and other clinical applications.
  • Implement and manage systems to enhance the efficiency, quality, and safety of patient care.
  • Oversee the use and functionality of clinical applications to ensure they meet user needs.
  • Conduct training sessions for clinicians on the use of EHR and other clinical systems.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Clinical Informaticist I Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Bachelor's degree in health informatics, Information Technology, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Ensure clinical information systems are properly maintained and optimized for user efficiency.
  • Provide prompt and effective support for clinicians experiencing issues with EHR and other clinical applications.
  • Work closely with IT, clinical staff, and other stakeholders to improve system functionality and user experience.
  • Assist in the implementation of new clinical information systems and upgrades.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by providing data and insights from clinical information systems.
  • Must pass the pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
