The Staff Strategic Sourcing Professional, working under general supervision, is responsible for performing moderately complex tasks relating to the execution of all procurement transactions for services and materials in support of business operations. The role facilitates effective communication with suppliers, standardizes fulfillment processes and collaborates with business owners on vendor onboarding and purchase management. The role participates in demand planning, collaborates on reports, negotiates contracts with low-risk suppliers, ensures policy adherence, and collaborates with other supply chain departments. The role also actively participates in change efforts, establishes influential relationships, and contributes to data quality improvement initiatives.

* Monitors, reviews, and analyzes agreement performance, ensuring compliance with metrics and pricing, and supports periodic reviews with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Develops an understanding of operations procurement and the business in general, recommends modifications, and communicates effectively, sharing knowledge and actively identifying opportunities for data quality improvement.
* Facilitates effective communication with suppliers, ensuring their understanding of policies, design standards, budget and cost targets, and service/quality expectations as well as negotiates contracts with low-risk suppliers and engages with low-complexity suppliers for overseeing day-to-day operations.
* Ensures uniformity and efficiency in all aspects of fulfillment processes, operational tools, standards, and supplier management procedures.
* Partners with business owners to identify and onboard vendors, manage purchase requisitions, and oversee purchase orders, aiming to align procurement activities with business needs while ensuring transparency and adherence to established standards.
* Participates in demand planning and forecasting initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory levels, ensure timely procurement, and align operations with market demands for enhanced supply chain efficiency.
* Ensures adherence to policies, procedures, and processes, recommending corrective action for non-compliance.
* Works under general supervision, actively participates in change efforts, and establishes influential relationships with internal and external stakeholders, cultivating effective working connections.
* Evaluates and recommends solutions independently, assesses operations procurement risks, and demonstrates the ability to prioritize and complete assignments.

Education:
* Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or any other related discipline and/or commensurate work experience is required.

Experience:
* 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in Supply Chain specializing in areas such as Sourcing, Vendor Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Contract Negotiation or a related field. Industry experience is preferred.
