Atlas Technologies, a rapidly expanding company supporting the US Military and other Government entities, is seeking a passionate, flexible, highly motivated team player to join our group of Information Technology professionals. We are seeking a PeopleSoft Functional Analyst to provide business and functional expertise supporting various PeopleSoft modules, such as Human Capital Management (HCM), Global Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor, and Financials. The ideal candidate will work closely with business users, developers, and project managers to gather requirements, design solutions, and support configuration, testing, and training. This role is key to ensuring our PeopleSoft applications align with mission requirements and business goals. Candidates are required to reside within the National Capital Region.
Travel up to 10% You Will:
- Serve as the primary liaison between functional users and the PeopleSoft development team.
- Gather and document business and system requirements for enhancements, maintenance, and new implementations.
- Analyze and document current processes, identify gaps, and propose improvements using PeopleSoft best practices.
- Configure PeopleSoft modules including Job Data, Position Management, Global Payroll, Time & Labor, and Benefits.
- Write and execute test scripts for system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Support end-users with issue resolution and provide troubleshooting assistance.
- Collaborate with developers to design and validate technical solutions that align with functional requirements.
- Support system upgrades, PUM image applications, and regression testing efforts.
- Develop and maintain functional documentation, training materials, and user guides.
- Ensure system compliance with federal policies, regulations, and data privacy standards.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint reviews, and backlog grooming.
- Assist with training and onboarding new users of the PeopleSoft system.
You Have:
- Must be a United States Citizen.
- Must possess and maintain Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance.
- Security + or other IAT Level 2 Certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a functional analyst supporting PeopleSoft HCM, Financials, or Campus Solutions.
- Experience with configuration and functional support of one or more PeopleSoft modules (e.g., Global Payroll, Time & Labor, Benefits, Core HR, Financials).
- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft functionality, workflows, and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and test scenarios.
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft tools such as Query Manager, BI Publisher, and approval workflows.
- Experience with system upgrade cycles and PUM update testing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of federal HR/payroll regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing/project tracking tools is a plus.
