Scope of work

Under the direction of a medical physicist and a radiation oncologist, uses knowledge of treatment planning techniques and the physical characteristics of equipment utilized, to accurately acquire and interpret patient data and generate/coordinate individualized treatment plans. Accurately calculates and documents treatment machine settings and parameters as required for the delivery of radiation as prescribed.

Qualifications

• Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a Physical/Life Science or radiation therapy program

• Required Graduate of an accredited Medical Dosimetry JRCERT accredited program of at least 12 months

• 5 years of relevant experience Radiation Oncology as a Medical Dosimetrist Required

• CRT-Medical Dosimetrist - MDCB Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board Upon Hire required
