Credence has an immediate need for a Security Manager at the journeyman level to support the mission of the Global Hawk (AFLCMC/WIAG) and U-2 (AFLCMC/WIA) Division is to provide continuous, high altitude long endurance (HALE), all-weather, day/night, wide area reconnaissance and surveillance remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) systems. Global Hawk and U-2Division is located at both Wright Patterson AFB, OH and Robins AFB, GA. Sustainment Branch (AFLCMC/WIAGA) is to provide sustainment support to the operational Global Hawk fleet to include aircraft, payloads, and ground assets. Sustainment Branch is located at Robins AFB, GA. The mission of the International & New Business Branch (AFLCMC/WIAPC) is to avail exportable versions of all-weather, day/night, wide area reconnaissance HALE RPA capabilities to international US partners.

The Security Manager will assist the AF Cognizant Security Authority (CSA) in oversight of National Security Objectives supporting AF interests. The positions will provide "day-to-day" support for Collateral and/or as specifically directed, Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) activities. This will be accomplished through active and integrated security operations, processes, mechanisms and performed under the direction of Government security administrator. This support will provide multidisciplinary security support, including aspects of information security, personnel security, operations security, industrial security, communications security and antiterrorism/force protection duties, while also being responsive and flexible to dynamic security situations.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

    Will perform analytical, planning, advisory, operational, or evaluative work having as its principal purpose the development and implementation of policies, procedures, standards, training, and methods for identifying and protecting information, personnel, property, facilities, operations, or material from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, theft, assault, vandalism, espionage, sabotage, or loss. Performance will include but is not limited to provide technical advice and security support to multiple collateral
  • programs and where specifically called for, Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) programs within the Division/Branch.
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with Information Protection (IP) Leads, Program Managers, Contracting Officers and anyone else as needed to ensure a standardized and accurate protection integration focus throughout the acquisition and sustainment lifecycle of our programs.
  • Assist in the development and writing of Operations Security (OPSEC) plans, transition plans, emergency action plans, transportation plans and any other security documents as needed for the customer. Review program documentation for public release, to include ensuring Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) has proper markings, classifications and distribution statements per DoD and AF guidance and provide
  • accurate feedback to Information Protection (IP) Leads about document disposition ability. Provide classification guidance and assistance for all collateral and Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) (where needed) programs. Understand counterintelligence threats and trends to help advice unit and program assigned personnel.
  • Assist with development of Security Classification Guides (SCG), Program Protection Plans (PPP), Security Operating Procedures, and other key security documents as directed by the Information Protection (IP) Lead. Provide classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence. Prepare, process, and distribute (ship and receive) inbound/outbound classified mail integrated with a singular Government accountable mailing program. Assist with preparing classified packages, courier forms and maintain receipt records of such dispatches. Perform destruction of classified materials and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Provide reproduction support for classified materials both paper and/or in electronic format.
  • Review, track, and monitor security clearance via Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) (and its replacement system) to ensure compliance with applicable personnel security standards and to ensure all personnel are properly accounted for. Ensure personnel security clearances are kept current and access is verified prior to allowing access to classified material. Ensure any specific collateral access set is either processed or staged for Information Protection (IP) Lead to process (i.e. NATO, FRD/RD/CNWDI access requirements). This also includes identifying any missing SF-312/Non-Disclosure Agreements and alerting Information Protection (IP) Lead of missing annotations as required.
  • Prepare, process, and/or review Visitor Certification Request for accuracy and access eligibility. Ensure smooth access ability is given to our personnel by ensuring visit certifications are received timely and accurately by receiving units. Assist with researching, processing, filing, and maintaining inbound and outbound visit notices.
  • Assist Information Protection (IP) Lead with inspection preparations and Management Internal Control Toolset (MICT) (or other inspection database) supervision.
  • Must possess ability to accurately convey information both in written and verbal format. Must be willing to travel within organizations direct area of responsibility. Must be willing to adapt to contingency schedule if required by unit in unusual cases of emergency or critical mission support need.


Education, Requirements and Qualifications

  • Requires a minimum of a Top-Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligibility.

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD or other United States Government (USG) ISR/SOF Organizations.

    • OR, seven years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, five of which must be in the DoD or other USG ISR/SOF Organizations.

  • Must be very familiar with security policy/manuals and the appropriate DoD and AF Directives, Manuals and Instructions

  • Must be very familiar with JPAS/DISS (and/or its replacement system)
  • Must have basic knowledge of the DD Form 254 and how it is incorporated in the Air Force acquisition process
  • Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DoD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners
  • Must have demonstrated maturity and ability in handling sensitive information regarding acquisition programs, exercises, personal matters of a potential derogatory nature, or military activities with discretion and sound judgement
  • Must possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision
  • Must possess ability to accurately convey information both in written and verbal format


Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Job may require the employee to be:

  • Must be willing to adapt to contingency schedule if required by unit in unusual cases of emergency or critical mission support need
  • Willing to travel within organizations direct area of responsibility
  • In a stationary position 50% of the time
  • Able to ascend/descend stairs as required
  • Able to move equipment not to exceed 25 lbs. as needed.
