Lighting Quotations Specialist

NorthEast Electrical is seeking a Full-time, Lighting Quotations Specialist to join our Northern Region Projects Team!

Hours:Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm

The overall objective of the Lighting Quotations Specialist is to prepare quotations on specified commercial lighting projects. Develop and maintain relationships with customers and work with key vendors to ensure customer needs are met.

What a day in this role looks like:

Prepare lighting quotations requests for large contractor account base

- Respond to customer requests for project pricing, including budget pricing, value engineering, and unit pricing.

-Navigate customer FTP sites to download appropriate drawings and schedules

- Negotiate pricing with vendors/reps and prepare complete and accurate bills of material in a timely manner based on customer needs

- Communicate with account manager and send completed quotation to customer

- Work with customer directly and in conjunction with account manager to close business

- Once project is awarded, finalize bill of material including all pricing and pertinent information and follow project management hand off process

What we are looking for you to bring to us:

Bachelor's degree preferred with emphasis on business and/or equivalent knowledge through job related experience and training.

- Knowledge of lighting and controls systems is required along with excellent Customer Service skills.

- Strong communication skills, including verbal negotiation skills, along with strong math skills

-Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office including Adobe

- Ability to quote a high volume of requests on a daily basis and work in a fast paced environment.
