POSITION SUMMARY

Onboarding of all new CPM staff. Creation and maintenance of all CPM work instructions. Create and maintain training material on New Flyer's Learning Management System that can be utilized to onboard new CPMs. Document and improve cross functional processes that CPM owns. Manage a small number of SRs per year to stay fresh with the CPM position responsibilities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Facilitate the creation and maintenance of all CPM work instructions, reference guides, forms and standard operating procedures
  • Maintain and create workflow diagrams for all cross functional processes that involve CPM
  • Onboard and train all CPM department new hires
  • Responsible for any general CPM training plans and requirements
  • Develop and maintain introductory training module that encompass the overall business flow from RFP to Acceptance
  • Work with IT and Customer Care business analysts to develop and test new and enhanced CPM systems
  • Provide operational guidance to functional departments relative to the completion of cross functional processes that involve CPM
  • Conduct project meetings with internal/external stakeholders, to include recording and distributing meeting agenda and minutes
  • Participate in monthly departmental meetings any other meetings deemed necessary to support internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to documenting Departmental Procedures and improving the methods used in the execution of our work activities
  • Engage in the meaningful development of personal Management by Objectives (MBO) criteria and execute your work to achieve these goals
  • Provide overview/training of CPM responsibilities to other departments as necessary.
  • Assist in creation of department and customer material and strategy communication
  • Assist in annual department professional development planning and budgeting
  • Manage at least one SR annually to stay up to date with CPM responsibilities
  • Comply with all occupational safety and health rules and regulations approved by local governments, New Flyer management and the Health and Safety Committee
  • Comply with all Environmental Management Systems certification and Occupational Safety and Health certification achieved by New Flyer
  • Work within key controls (ICFR Internal Controls) identified under this area of responsibility in support of compliance to Financial Reporting
  • Work within established policies and processes to ensure goals and objectives for all regulatory and legal requirements are met
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Bachelor's degree (Business Administration, Communications or related business experience is preferred)
  • PMP Structured Training (Preferred)
  • 5+ years of CPM work experience
  • Prior Project Management experience in a manufacturing environment and/or PMP Certificate and/or equivalent work experience

Up to 25% travel time may be required, including on weekends
