What You'll Do As a Multifamily Designer, you'll play a key role in designing the structural backbone of residential and commercial buildings. You'll collaborate with sales, production, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective designs that meet our clients' needs and exceed expectations. Your responsibilities will include: Designing metal plate-connected wood trusses and wall panels using industry-leading software (Mitek) Creating optimized layouts for roof and floor trusses, walls, and other structural components Reviewing orders, layouts, and data files for accuracy and efficiency Supporting sales and production teams with design expertise and troubleshooting Preparing reports and documentation as needed Continuously improving design processes and resource utilization What You Bring to the Table Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience 10+ years of experience in multifamily or commercial design Proficiency withMitek softwareis a must Strong understanding of floor and roof systems, including beam and hanger specifications Solid skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) A passion for precision, innovation, and collaboration Why You'll Love Working Here We believe great work deserves great rewards.
