The Supervisor Child Care works under the general direction of the Director Child Care. Assists the Director is the responsibilities of educational programming for the Child Care Center, providing supervision and support of staff. Assists in planning, managing and coordinating components of parent engagement, childcare supervision and curriculum development and planning, and compliance with state licensing and accreditation standards. Supervisor is responsible for filling in for Director in their absence.

Required Qualifications:
  • Graduation from a four year college or university with a degree in early childhood, or related educational field.
  • Mandatory Child Abuse Reporting training, adult/infant/child CPR/First Aid training, universal precautions and infection disease control and minimal training requirements annually as required by Iowa Department of Human Services

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Early Childhood Education
