We are seeking a visionary and strategic Vice President of Corporate Communications to lead our internal and external communications strategy. This role is responsible for shaping the Procore narrative, enhancing employee engagement, and driving consistent messaging across all channels. The VP, Corporate Communications will oversee all centralized corporate communications programs including media relations, executive communications, and employee communications. This position reports into the Chief Marketing Officer and has the opportunity to be based in one of our US office locations or work remotely from any US location. We are looking for someone to join us immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with corporate objectives.

  • Serving as a key business partner, advise senior leaders on communications strategy.

  • Own all internal and external communications planning and execution.

  • Experience working with customers to tell their stories and proven ability to lead with customers at the center of programs.

External Communications & Media Relations

  • Outline company narrative; own program to certify all employees on telling the company story.

  • Build strong relationships with media, influencers, and industry stakeholders.

  • Drive strategy for creation of company statements and serve as contact for media inquiries and as a company spokesperson when needed.

Internal & Executive Communications

  • Create and manage internal communication strategies to foster employee engagement, transparency, and alignment.

  • Own strategy and delivery of all employee communications including department-level and "all company" town hall meetings.

  • Ownership of company intranet, known internally as The Core.

Brand & Reputation Management

  • Ensure consistent voice and messaging across all external touchpoints.

  • Partner with Digital Marketing on execution of social media strategies.

  • Own thought leadership initiatives; partner with peers on the marketing leadership team to ensure messaging consistency and brand integrity.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing communications team which includes a mix of full time employees, contractors and agencies.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Marketing, Legal, and other departments.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field (Master's preferred) or equivalent in experience.

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in communications, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.

  • Experience running communications at a technology company is preferred.

  • Proven experience managing large-scale communications initiatives and crisis communications for a publicly traded company.

  • Experience running cross functional communications and marketing programs at scale.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills; agency management.

  • Strong media relations experience, spokesperson experience and executive presence.

  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with sound judgment and discretion.

QualificationsAdditional Information

Base Pay Range $247,200 - $339,900. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
