Overview

SCCI is seeking a disciplinedProgram Analystto join our team in support of a Weapon System Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the Hardware Engineering Team, Business Operations Team, Procurement, and Management Teams to support the program with necessary hardware tracking efforts. This position is located at our office inDahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities:




  • Perform process and system analysis to define, analyze, and validate improvements to engineering processes and tracking functionality for our obsolescence hardware tracking efforts supporting a multi-disciplinary engineering team
  • Analyze Workflow Management Tools and Systems to elicit and define requirements, assess options for overall project improvement and growth
  • Improve and maintain system documentation & quick reference guides pertaining to program processes, and business operations
  • Coordinate directly with the Engineering, Procurement, and Management teams to support and track need dates for engineering goals
  • Organize data, track status and keep management appraised of current availability and expected milestone events


Essential Skills and Experience:



  • Must be a U.S. Citizenand have the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret Security Clearance
  • High School Diploma
  • Five (5)+ years of experience in engineering program analysis
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear, logically sequenced, and grammatically correct documents
  • Attention to detail in project documentation for content, formatting, consistency, and grammar
  • Self-starter with ability to learn new technologies, tools, technical system configurations, and processes quickly
  • Attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, multitask, and manage priorities in a dynamic environment



Preferred Skills and Experience:



  • BA/BS in Business, Engineering, or another scientific/technicalfield and two (2) - four (4) years of related experience
  • Active DoD Security Clearance is highly preferred
  • Experience with DoD system development and hardware engineering processes is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience working with engineers, HW/SWdevelopers, and management to gather necessary documentation, requirements, security, and safety information
  • Familiarity with technical documentation
