Job Overview & Responsibilities

Member of the Engineering and Infrastructure department whose responsibilities include the testing, operation, and maintenance of industrial process systems, including facility HVAC systems and Environmental Control Systems (ECS) used at all ULA Launch Sites. Position is located at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.




  • Design HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings
  • Perform heating and cooling load calculations
  • Select and specify HVAC equipment and components
  • Prepare technical drawings and documentation using CAD software
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and environmental regulations
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments
  • Collaborate with contractorsand other engineers
  • Oversee installation and commissioning of HVAC systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC system issues
  • Provide technical support during construction phases
  • Develop energy-efficient and sustainable HVAC solutions
  • Manage project timelines and budgets



Required Education

Bachelor

Required Years of Experience

Minimum of 2 years of related work experience

Basic Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field from an accredited college or university
  • 2 years of relevantwork experience
  • Previous HVACexperience in water cooling and air conditioning processes with knowledge of multiple system types and control
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office products Excel, Word, Power Point and Project



Preferred Qualifications



  • Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize issues
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Excellent communication, writing and oral skills and have the ability to work with a wide range of team members including customers and subcontractors
  • Proficient knowledge in Computer Aided Design software such as Revit, Tekla, AutoCad
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
