This role will support overhead sensor system integration within the Navy's Maritime Targeting Cell - Afloat and Maritime Targeting Cell - Expeditionary (MTC-A/X) program office. Candidate will work directly with the Navy's Principal Assistant Program Manager (PAPM) for Development on a wide range of sensor systems engineering and integration lines of effort.

Responsibilities

As an Overhead Systems Integration Support Analyst with MTSI, you will be responsible for multiple lines of effort related to sensor system engineering and integration within the Navy Maritime Targeting Cell program office. You will directly support the Navy Development PAPM on system design reviews, requirements management and verification, risk identification and mitigation, technical analysis supporting design trades, CONOPs development, ground segment integration and interface management, technical tradeoffs, and monitoring of system developer performance. This position will be located in the Washington, DC area.

Responsibilities:

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

  • Assist in managing the systems development roadmap for the Navy's Maritime Targeting Cell - Afloat and Expeditionary
  • Assist in the planning for new systems integration through vendor comparison and cost studies
  • Design and define system architectures for new / existing systems
  • Support implementation, configuration, operations, and maintenance of multiple systems

Qualifications

Qualifications Required:

  • 3 years relevant experience with overhead systems, 5+ years preferred
  • Experience with NRO space and ground communication systems architectures
  • Experience with manned and unmanned tactical ISR platforms including compartmented system capabilities
  • Understanding of technical interfaces and sensor integration with a mission partner's system
  • Mix of technical acumen, analytic skills, and a breadth of mission knowledge to succeed in this position.
  • Strong communication, writing, and briefing interpersonal skills
  • Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Daily on-site presence in a SCIF within D.C. Metro Area (i.e. Washington Navy Yard, McLean, Pentagon, Ft Meade, Chantilly)

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM or 10+ years relevant job experience required

Even better if you have these desired skills:

  • Technical background based on experience with sensor integration programs across multiple different agencies (NRO, NGA, ODNI, AF RCO, etc.)
  • Experience fusing data from multiple paths to increase track confidence
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering

Clearance Requirements:

  • TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for SCI/SAP.
