HX5 is currently seeking a Sustainment Team Lead with our C2BMC Test Facility to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract in Colorado Springs, CO.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage 20-person team performing daily operational and sustainment activities on multimillion-dollar test
    lab enterprise network
  • Provide strategic, general and specific direction to team members to ensure performance in accordance with contract and organizational goals
  • Manage, prioritize, schedule and assign tasks and personnel to ensure patches, hotfixes, full releases and maintenance actions are completed in effective manner
  • Ensure C2BMC configuration baselines are managed in accordance with associated team, org and program-level processes and guidance
  • Manage CTF systems and architecture to ensure maintenance activities are performed, tracked, documented and completed using the system of record ticketing system
  • Track and monitor key performance metrics relating to maintenance and operational activities
  • Ensure all CTF systems are operationally ready to meet scheduled testing activities
  • Ensure issues impacting operation and function of the CTF are tracked, reported and properly documented and briefed to stakeholders and customers until resolved
  • Coordinate with the government stakeholder, program development leads and customers to effectively plan and deconflict priorities, technical issues and development support to enhance decision-making efforts
  • Schedule and facilitate working groups, briefings/presentations and technical interchanges with appropriate stakeholders, customers and technical teams to address CTF status, concerns and issues
  • Collaborate with peer managers and teams to integrate efforts and personnel when/where possible to streamline daily
    efforts
  • Routinely evaluate team processes, procedures, performance and roles to identify efficiencies and opportunities for
    improvements
  • Execute Cost Account Manager (CAM) duties through monitoring and controlling financial and personnel resources to
    ensure contract requirements are met within proper time, scope and budget

Salary: This position is expected to pay $149,000 - $174,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience:
    • HS Diploma (or GED) and 14 years of general experience
    • OR Associate degree and 12 years of general experience
    • OR Bachelor's degree and 10 years of general experience
    • OR Master's degree and 8 years of general experience
  • Must have 8 years of directly related / specialized experience in IT systems management
  • Must have 3 years of experience in a management or leadership role
  • Must have experience with budget/financial management
  • Must have experience in interviewing/hiring/evaluating IT technical skillsets
  • Must have 3 years of C2BMC experience
  • Must have CompTIA Security + CE certification or DoD approved 8140 baseline certification
  • Must be able to work occasional evenings, nights or weekends
  • Must have an active DoD Secret (or higher) security clearance

Desired Requirements:

  • Have Systems Administration, Network Engineering or vmWare experience
  • Have experience working in an IT testing or development environment

Other Position Requirements:

  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
  • Must be able to travel, including air travel.
  • Must have a valid Drivers License.
