Summary

The Red Bull Sales State Manager directly and indirectly oversees the execution of the overall Red Bull business in the state. This position will manage a large, multi-layered sales team that is dedicated to the Red Bull business as well as provide direction on the brand to the greater Columbia sales team.

Primary Responsibilities



  • Set and execute annual, quarterly, and monthly sales objectives:

    • Attain corporate and supplier business metrics to include volume, profit, distribution and placement to maximize sales and brand performance


  • Analyze available data sources and competitive business trends to drive improved performance within sales team and in the retail trade
  • Work directly with General Managers, Directors, & District Managers to set measurable territory goals to achieve monthly volume, revenue, and profit goals
  • Create strong working relationship with Red Bull supplier partner to improve overall Key Performance Indicators that drive sales team effectiveness and strong business results
  • Manage and maintain Columbia's fleet of Red Bull vans & side bay trucks
  • Ability to create and deliver data-driven presentations to executive leadership for Columbia & Red Bull
  • Maintain a high level of industry knowledge: Red Bull, beer, non-alcoholic, food journals, trends, market share, etc.
  • Effectively forecast projected sales and product inventory needs
  • Track and administer qualifying sales incentives for sales team
  • Cultivate strong relationships with supplier and customers
  • Communicate business results, plans and sales objectives with senior management
  • Review and organize business and sales team structure to ensure sales positions and territories are appropriately staffed to achieve company and supplier objectives
  • Submit all required reporting, preplans, trackers, surveys, expense report, mileage log, etc.
  • Adhere to all state liquor laws and regulations
  • Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate department staff
  • Complete all other tasks and projects as assigned by manager

This job operates in our accounts, mostly indoors with occasional outdoor work.

Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, days/hours of work vary, and may include weekends.

Travel

Requires travel throughout the monthly periodically and out of state periodically

Education and Experience



  • College diploma preferred
  • Previous grocery, retail, distributor, and Red Bull experience strongly preferred
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance required
  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Minimum five (5) years previous sales experience
  • Minimum two (2) years management/leadership experience


Compensation



  • Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
  • Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Employees are also eligible for 80 hours of vacation every year and 7-8 days of paid holidays throughout the calendar year (depending on location).
  • Hired applicants may be eligible for incentives/bonuses/annual bonuses.
