What You'll Do

This position will be located at our Corporate Office: 2355 W Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85027

Plans, directs and coordinates Virtual Banker's sales and service activities to achieve established goals through positive leadership, direction and guidance. Provides coaching to Virtual Banker's on member focused sales strategies. Creates an environment of teamwork, motivation and accountability. Develops a strong knowledge of the products and services being offered and how to present them to a member. This role will need a working knowledge of industry's climate and competition and be able to create and effectively implement a sales strategy. Ensures that all Virtual Banker's are exceeding member expectations through quality needs assessments

  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; managing performance; rewarding and coaching associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Monitor, track and coach to each Virtual Banker's loan pipeline including partner referrals.
  • Motivate Virtual Banker's to reach and exceed individual sales goals, while contributing to the overall team success.
  • Conduct regular one on ones with each Virtual Banker
  • Complete monthly trend base coaching
  • Maintain knowledge of the Credit Union's membership eligibility.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to members, vendors, and internal associates regarding sensitive inquiries, requests and complaints by email or phone.
  • Directs, coordinates, and monitors activities to implement Credit Union's policies, procedures, and practices concerning granting or extending consumer credit loans
  • Develops plans to reach Virtual Direct goals and action plans to achieve those goals, while continuously monitoring individual Virtual banker performance
  • Review credit reports, debt to income ratios, loan to value and other pertinent underwriting information.
  • Leads Virtual Bankers. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Collects data to analyze the present and future financial status of the Virtual Region.
  • Collaborates to prepare and monitor annual budgets and staffing.
  • Collaborates with internal business partners, including Business Development Officers, Commercial Loan Officers, Wealth Advisors, and Mortgage Loan Officers.
  • Perform required research to resolve escalated issues.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding when dealing with problems involving variables in standardized situations.
  • Provide weekly feedback on Virtual Banker's pipeline of consumer loans, while reporting on pull-through ratios, overall performance and any obstacles that are present
  • Perform funding duties for all unsecured products (CC, Signature Loan and Lines of Credit) as needed.

What You Bring

  • H.S. Diploma Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • 3-5 years similar or related experience in customer service, preferably in a financial institution and/or call center environment required.
  • 1-3 years similar or related experience. Supervisory/leadership experience required.
  • Leadership experience within a financial industry required.
  • Demonstrate proficient writing ability and telephone etiquette. Must be able to multi-task.
  • Chat experience is preferred.
