Position Summary To obtain and maintain employment, you must be able to pass: a drug and alcohol screen, a security background check for unescorted access to a nuclear plant, a psychological screen, and be subject to random drug and alcohol screening in fulfilment of federal requirements. The engineering intern will work within a program engineering group with responsibilities to monitor, trend and improve plant performance in their discipline, complete a specific project, and support other job functions within the assigned engineering group. The successful intern will have the opportunity to lead and/or support activities as described above working with a team of experienced Engineers and Leaders. Additionally, the intern will gain knowledge of the larger nuclear plant operations and organization through the work they will be performing. PG&E is providing the hourly rate range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time ofthe job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual hourly rate paid to an individualwill be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications,experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.Although we estimatethe successful candidate hiredinto this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decisionwill be made on a case-by-casebasis related to these factors.
