Duties And Responsibilities

Perform low and medium complexity tasks and assist in other tasks of the Department. Perform maintenance and testing of tooling equipment as required with support from the supervisor, working onshore and offshore. Perform activities necessary for the installation, operation and maintenance of onshore and offshore equipment and tools.

Functions
ESSENTIAL

  • Inspection, repair, maintenance, and testing of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic tools and equipment
  • Analyze and verify materials required for operational execution
  • Assist with loading, unloading, mobilization, and demobilization of equipment and tools, maintaining updated inventories and managing spare parts kits
  • Complete operational reports, documents, and risk assessments as directed by supervisors
  • Inform supervisors of operational needs both onshore and offshore to ensure job completion
  • Interpret mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic technical drawings to diagnose potential anomalies in equipment and tools
  • Assist with loading, unloading, mobilization, and demobilization of equipment and tools, managing spare parts kits, and maintaining updated inventories and instrument calibration control
  • Maintain updated inventories and calibration control
  • Interface with the client (onshore and offshore)

Safety
Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment.

Other
Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.
Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities.

Reporting Relationship

  • Reporting to Operations Coordinator.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Complete Technical Education in: Mechanics, Automation, Electronics or related areas.
  • Six months of experience in technical activities.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Good oral and written communication with clients
  • Ability to work with MS Office
  • Ability to work as a team with other technicians and collaborate towards a healthy work environment.
