ERP Software Developer III

Job Summary:

As a senor developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems with a focus on accounting and financial modules. This position is a full-time, onsite position, based out of Grand Rapids, MI (not a remote position).

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain ERP accounting modules to meet business needs.
• Integrate ERP systems with other financial applications and databases.
• Analyze business processes and implement automation solutions within our ERP system.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ERP accounting systems.
• Collaborate with finance teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Lead the design and development of complex software applications.
• Architect and implement scalable and efficient solutions.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews and automated testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical software issues.
• Collaborate with product owners to gather requirements, define development project scope and be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the development team
• Provide technical guidance, make significant technical decisions, mentor and coaches junior developers.
• Optimize system performance and ensure data integrity.
• Work within a structured Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process to manage the team in the specification, design, development, test and support of software, including providing technical guidance and direction for less experienced team members when necessary.
• Perform other duties as required.

Job Specifications - Knowledge:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is required.
• 10 years' relevant experience required.
• Senior-level position with significant business and development experience around ERP accounting systems.
• Strong understanding ofUI/UX principlesand ability to create visually appealing interfaces.
• Expert at designing, developing & maintaining WinForms ERP applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Background in Infragistics preferred.
• Proficient inC#,.NET Framework, andVisual Studio.
• Strong understanding ofdatabase design principles.
• ExperienceinProgress OpenEdgedevelopment.
