The minimum and maximum projected annualized salary for this position is: $91,972.00 to $151,186.80. Additional compensation may be possible based on experience and skills.



Responsibilities

The Portfolio Manager II, under limited oversight, supports the credit process by facilitating the collection of financial information from clients and prospects, preparing and submitting credit packages for the approval of new loans and for the renewal of existing loans, working with the Relationship Manager(s) to draft term sheets/loan proposals, reviewing loan documents, both internally and attorney prepared, for accuracy prior to loan closing and the day-to-day management of upcoming maturities, past dues and documentation exceptions.



Qualifications

Requirements:

    Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in business administration, finance, accounting or related field
  • 3 years additional years of commercial credit underwriting and analysis experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree
  • 3 years commercial credit analysis, portfolio management and customer service experience; advanced degree accepted in lieu of some work experience

Preferences:

  • Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) MBA
  • Experience structuring and pricing loan transactions to achieve organizational goals
  • Adept in financial statement analysis
  • Successful completion of web-based credit training through RMA, Omega or similar programs may be required within six months of hiring
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of credit underwriting, including cash flow and collateral analysis
  • Ability to identify strengths and weaknesses and mitigates
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Bank product knowledge
  • Knowledge of varying credit structure types: * Term loans * Owner occupied CRE * Line of credit * Letter of credit
  • Ability to work on several loan requests simultaneously
  • Proficient in credit underwriting, including cash flow and collateral analysis
  • Proven ability to identify sales opportunities within a commercial loan environment
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Familiarity with bank Customer Relationship Management ("CRM") systems
  • Working knowledge of Moody's Risk Analyst or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Asset Based Lending, Government Contract Lending, and/or Special Assets
