The Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions across our software development lifecycle. This role ensures the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications and systems by building a purposeful, efficient, and maintainable automated test suite..

U.S. citizenship or Permanent Residence is required for this role. In addition, the selected applicant must submit to a government background investigation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Developing, enhancing, and executing automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Integrating automated tests into continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Collaborating closely with development, product, and manual QA teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Monitoring test automation and CI/CD tools to identify, analyze, and document defects, and then working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Creating and maintaining detailed test plans, test cases, and test summary reports.
  • Staying current with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in test automation.
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of test strategies for new features and releases.


REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:



  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or development with a strong focus on test automation.
  • Proficiency in the Cypress (or comparable testing frameworks)
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, strong analytical abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to contribute quickly to projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiar with Agile-Scrum and capable of working effectively as part of a scrum team.


EDUCATION:



  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; four (4) years of experience may be substituted instead of a degree.

Internal title/grade: Software Engineer, E1
Salary range: $75,000 - $110,000

All individuals being hired to work for TCG must submit to, and successfully pass, a pre-employment background investigation prior to reporting for their first day of work. The pre-employment background investigation will include verification of employment and education, as well as, a criminal and DMV check.

Additional documentation and background checks will also be required for positions that require clearance from the Federal government.
