Responsible for Operations Network Support - script development, device configuration management, system administration, hardware support, software support, maintenance, security, troubleshooting. Responsible for solution design, development, integration and enhancements to meet the business needs and project requirements. Also, responsible for documenting and developing operational procedures and provides end user support. Grade: 16 Tasks and Responsibilities
Minimum Skills Minimum Knowledge and Abilities
Demonstrated Associate level experience with Network Engineering
Experience with networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
Solid knowledge of OSI or TCP/IP models
Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
Experience with cloud environments
Proven experience with Cisco ACI or Cisco Nexus Data Center technologies
Knowledge of key concepts in security management (vulnerability management, patch management, incident response)
Skill in assessing security controls based on cybersecurity principles and frameworks
Experience as a Network Administrator in a field supporting critical systems and providing technical solutions
Relative experience in supporting utility construction & maintenance Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Computer Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field from an accredited university. OR Relative experience in system management for network engineering. Required Certifications Working Environment
Work is performed both indoors and outdoors. Operating computer, manual dexterity, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion. Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer and calculator.
Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business related events. After hours work may be required.
Works various fluctuating schedules to include rotating shift work, call duty, extended hours and weekends. Physical Demands
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
