Responsibilities
Acquire a thorough understanding of job descriptions for required competencies, skills, and knowledge required of successful candidates.
- Works closely with TA team members to understand staffing needs across the assigned groups
- Attend meetings with hiring leaders to understand current and future hiring needs in addition to providing current sourcing/recruiting updates
- Performs candidate sourcing through internal and external database mining, Boolean search strings, various online sites, well as other innovative sourcing methods.
- Communicates status of searches with the Talent Acquisition team on a consistent and timely basis.
- Develops and maintains a network and database of potential candidates for future consideration, including pipeline of passive candidates.
- Ensures open requisitions are posted to appropriate job boards to help drive in applications.
- Assist with coordination and scheduling candidate interviews with the TA team and/or hiring leaders
- Assist with travel arrangements for candidate interviews, as needed
- Assist administrative duties, such as sending pre-hire paperwork, background checks, tracking interview notes, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2 or more years of relevant experience in a recruitment assistant/sourcing role
- Experience recruiting/sourcing for technical roles (science, engineering, technology) is a plus
- Previous experience utilizing external resume databases for sourcing, LinkedIn Recruiter experience is a plus.
- Strong computer skills with proficient skills in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Effective multi-tasking and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels within an organization
- Ability to work well independently, as well as in a team environment.
