Job Summary:
|
The Department of Psychiatry seeks an HR Recruitment Specialist at the Intermediate or Senior Level. The Specialist will focus on recruitment of faculty and staff within the department as part of a team to support major growth within the department. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee recruitment through the entire recruitment process and Onboarding of new employees.
- Manage the posting of requisitions on various job boards and track efficacy of each site.
- Work with the HR Program Manager to manage the hiring process for temporary staff and working retiree hires.
- Work with the HR Program Manager to manage the recruitment of internal administrative stipend processes.
- Recruitment approval process for the Assistant Professor promotion process.
- Work with HR Program Manager on conflict resolution within the recruitment team.
- Work with HR Program manager to strategize around how to improve the recruitment process.

Work Location:

Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Qualifications:
|
Minimum Qualifications: Intermediate Level:
- A bachelor's degree in public administration, public policy, business, higher education administration, social sciences, behavioral sciences, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
- One (1) year of professional level experience in Human Resources or Recruitment.
Senior Level:
- A bachelor's degree in public administration, public policy, business, higher education administration, social sciences, behavioral sciences, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
- Two (2) years of professional level experience in Human Resources or Recruitment.
A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing and handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Experience in project management.
- Experience with working in Smartsheet.
- Experience using CU programs (Smartsheet, HCM, FIMS, Salesforce, or similar programs).
- Experience working with students, staff, and faculty, within a higher education and/or academic medical environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and evaluate a broad range of laws, rules, and regulations in order to exercise good judgment in applying them to human resource challenges.
- Knowledge of the professional standards, concepts, and practices of recruitment and selection, employee relations, or organizational development and human resource policy.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally, including public speaking.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
- Thorough knowledge of current management and leadership methods and best practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Anticipated Pay Range:
|
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as: Intermediate Level: $47,516 - $60,439 Senior Level: $51,368 - $65,339 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
