Baltimore, MD Pay From: $19 per hour MUST: Experienced Medical Assistant - Student Health 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant - Student Health Certified or Registered Medical Assistant Must have family Medicine/Primary Care MUST have PEDS Vaccination experience Fast Paced clinic DUTIES: The Medical Assistant will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Report to clinical coordinator or practice administrator Perform nursing procedures under supervision of physician or physician assistant Assist physician and physician assistant in exam rooms Escort patients to exam rooms, interviews patients, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in patients chart Scheduling patients and/or verifying respective patient insurance information Assisting physicians, nursing, and clinical staff with accurate and timely scheduling of patients to be seen in the clinic setting Communicating with patients and family members Performing various clinical front desk and clerical duties such as obtaining demographic and insurance information and charge entry Managing patient flow Perform other duties as assigned Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
