Monitors and maintains laboratory supplies in technologist work areas; restocks supplies if necessary. Checks all storage areas in laboratory for any surplus stock and distributes accordingly. Maintains and performs preventative maintenance on major laboratory equipment. Performs and documents quality control on laboratory equipment. Files routine laboratory reports, donor lab work cards and patient transfusion records. Prepares and stocks any necessary technical forms and specimen numbers. Maintains the cleanliness and tidiness of the laboratory.
