Where you'll be:

This position will be based in Springfield, TN.

All about the role:

As a Team Materials Leader, you will quid and direct the efforts of the Materials team in the deployment of their duties. The Team Leader will teach and instruct the team in the proper practices of doing their jobs and follow a safety-first approach.

What you'll do:

  • Lead by example all of the safety rules pertaining in the workplace and provide a safe workplace for all team members.

  • Unloading, verifying, and receiving incoming materials.

  • Providing leadership and direction to hourly team members engaged in warehousing, picking, packing, and transporting of materials for production support. Stock material to appropriate warehouse location.

  • Generate material picks. Pull material (picks) for assembly line changeovers.

  • Verify production lines changeovers and determine changeover material shortages and communicate with appropriate personnel.

  • Place orders for common parts. Deliver changeovers, common parts, and bulk material to appropriate production lines in a timely manner to prevent downtime.

  • Deliver products to production lines in a timely manner to prevent production downtime.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of materials experience.

  • High school degree.

  • Communication skills for effective collaboration with different stakeholders, internal teams and factories.

  • Ability to do simple math - add, subtract, multiply, divide and percentages.

Physical Demands:

  • Must have the ability to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 30lbs. on a repetitive basis.

  • Must be able to drive a PIV (power industrial vehicle) securely.
