The Senior Attendee Manager/Web Builder represents the business needs for event registration solutions, leading the development and deployment of web and mobile technology in support of a major banking and financial services client. This role plans and manages medium to large-scale projects, ensuring the delivery of effective and efficient solutions through strategic planning, design, and implementation. It involves overseeing cross-functional teams to create and execute technical solutions tailored to client needs, while also being responsible for end-to-end attendee management, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for all event participants.

Primary Responsibilities

50%- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports to ensure the timely completion of web and mobile application builds. Conducts solutions meetings and is responsible for project tracking, reporting, testing and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks as needed. Recommends and takes action to direct analysis and solutions of problems. Understands the system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member in order. Responsible for hotel/room block management. Communicates with meeting attendees to answer questions. Reports and tracks invitation status of meeting attendees. Provides quality review of reports, including but not limited to rooming list, transportation manifest, group air and hotel. Creates name badges and assist with On-Arrival, where applicable. Uploads required documentation in customer preferred tool. Develops and manages to project budgets, timelines, and requirement documents. Leads change management.

30%- Directs and participates in the requirements gathering, definition and design of assigned projects. Responds to request for proposal (RFP) technical questions. Conducts requirements gathering meetings with clients. Conducts meetings to develop appropriate solutions. Participates in presentation of requirement documents. Conducts meetings with development and testing team members to review all requirements.

20%- Conducts project debriefs to ensure understanding of improvement opportunities. Engages management, operating team members and other system/application teams in the development and implementation of efficient and effective process methodology for delivering solutions. Maintains master tracking calendar of web projects. Ensures adherence to all department standards including those for systems/applications and the delivery of high-quality products and services. Remains current with industry trends/technology and handles special assignments as requested by Event Registration Management.

OTHER- This job function requires or may require travel to destinations worldwide, in support of client site inspections and/or program operations. There is an inherent risk associated with all travel, often as a result of extraordinary circumstances. Therefore, during an emergency, it is your duty to provide the necessary guidance and leadership, and to promote the safety of the client, travel participants and other Maritz employees by implementing or supporting prescribed crisis procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

  • A minimum of three years of experience with Group Travel processes.

  • Web development experience required.

  • Understanding of Event Registration Solutions products and offerings.

  • Intermediate experience in IT project management leadership and development of IT project budgets.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work with aggressive timelines.

  • Effective communication skills related to technology concepts and recommendations to clients and internal decision makers preferred.

  • Knowledge of two or more ERS products and SME in one product and understanding of basic database concepts.
