Marketing Specialist Advisor

Under minimal supervision, leads the development of marketing pricing strategy for retail, small businesses and medium businesses that takes into account customer lifecycle and experience. Works collaboratively with other marketing strategy and pricing teams to ensure holistic alignment of the marketing pricing strategy.

Essential Functions

• Conducts market and competitive analysis, product analysis and customer research to inform the customer experience as related to marketing and pricing.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define, implement and launch market-leading, customer-centric pricing programs.
• Independently lead needed market, economic and competitive evaluations that affect product performance.
• Performs fact-based data analysis and interpretation to identify critical business insights.
• Resolves problems and makes recommendations related to complex and interrelated matters and projects.
• Provides specialist-level analysis in several marketing disciplines and/or expert-level in one or more.
• Recommends project budgets and forecasts anticipated budget spending.
• Coaches others in less senior positions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in marketing, finance, computer science or related business discipline.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years experience in marketing, advertising, sales administration, or related discipline.

Experience leading complex initiatives in a corporate environment.

More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements. A related Master's Degree equals two (2) years experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of the broad application of advanced principles, theories, concepts and techniques in marketing disciplines, project management and information analysis.

Strong human relations and communication/presentation skills.

Advanced organizational, quantitative and analytical skills, including experience in database marketing.

Customer-focused orientation.

Preferred Qualifications: This position will be a subject matter expert on pricing as it relates to strategic initiatives across Retail and Small/Medium Businesses. Candidates with ability to persuade through data, pricing analysis, competitive comparisons, analytic skillset strongly preferred.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: U.S. Pay Range: $6,168.90/month - $10,898.39/month

Additional Details: This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN or Plano, TX and candidates must live within a 50-mile radius. Employees will be required to work at a FedEx Campus location several times per week.
