Are you passionate about cutting-edge technology and eager to make a meaningful impact? We're seeking a collaborative and forward-thinking FPGA Engineer to develop, integrate, and support Verilog/VHDL FPGA pipeline implementations across our full line of Cytek flow cytometers. This role is central to advancing real-time signal and image processing, high-throughput data acquisition, statistical analysis, and optimizing data throughput to enhance scientific discovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Craft and verify complex digital systems using Verilog HDL for FPGA platforms, pushing the boundaries of what's possible.

  • Conduct detailed timing analysis, resource optimization, and power estimation to ensure efficient and effective FPGA designs.

  • Implement and debug sophisticated digital signal processing algorithms and control systems on FPGAs, transforming data into actionable insights.

  • Lead board bring-up and system-level testing of FPGA-based designs, ensuring seamless operation and reliability.

  • Work closely with electronics engineers to integrate analog and digital components into cohesive FPGA-based systems.

  • Design and implement interfaces between FPGAs and analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), digital-to-analog converters (DACs), and other analog devices, enhancing system versatility.

  • Develop comprehensive FPGA verification and test plans to meet system specifications, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of digital design principles, including timing analysis, state machine design, and pipelining.

  • Proven experience in developing new components and supporting, modifying, and maintaining systems and code developed by others.

  • Additional Skills (Optional but beneficial):

    • Experience with microprocessors and CUDA software development.

    • Experience implementing high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, and SFP+.
