Dalton Cardiovascular Research Center Job Description
The Research Specialist will be responsible for performing cognitive behavioral assessments on adult and aged rodent models (rats and mice). This role also entails managing rat and mouse colonies and ensuring accurate documentation of animal genotyping. Previous knowledge and experience with safe rodent handling techniques and rodent behavioral experimentation is preferred. The Research Specialist will also be trained to perform tissue collection, cell isolation, cell culture and other essential experiments. Duties include: Shift
Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications

The Dalton Cardiovascular Research Center is making great strides toward understanding the causes of many diseases, including hypertension, cancer, cystic fibrosis and heart disease.
