Overview

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.



Responsibilities

    Design and deliver polished, high-level presentation materials for executive and senior leadership audiences
  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional discussions to define business capabilities and strategic priorities
  • Conduct research and stakeholder interviews to gather key insights for roadmap development
  • Translate complex programmatic concepts into clear, compelling communications for executive decision-making
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive capability roadmaps aligned with organizational goals
  • Synthesize data, research findings, and stakeholder input into actionable strategies and plans
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of messaging in leadership content and strategic documents
  • Collaborate across organizations to align capability development with broader program, component, and enterprise objectives
  • Manage multiple work efforts under tight deadlines, balancing quality and strategic impact
  • Provide advice, expertise and specialized skills creating value and improving customer performance
  • Provide expertise in business strategy, manpower planning, policy analysis, management controls, information technology, e-business and operations.
  • Identify options with recommendations, and/or the implementation of solutions.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 12+ years of experience in strategic planning, acquisition, and system integration.
  • Proficiency in tools for high quality presentations.
  • Understanding of Systems acquisition lifecycle (e.g. ALF and MD-102).
  • Familiarity with IEEE standard 1012, IEEE Standard 829-1998, and the DHS SELC.
  • Excellent writing, communications and briefing skills.


Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $113,400.00/Yr. - USD $189,300.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
