Product Strategy Operations Analyst

  • Support future product strategy and vehicle proposals for the North American market
  • Provide department operations and logistics support

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Monitor industry news and produce daily and weekly news summaries
  • Monitor and track department budgets to aid teams in efficient budget utilization
  • Become an expert in internal budgeting and purchasing processes and aid teams getting requests through the system
  • Vehicle Fleet management including purchasing, scheduling, and maintenance of Product Planning controlled test vehicles
  • Understand and track 3rd party information resources available Product Strategy teams including information provided by each resource, contract status (expiration dates, number of users, etc.), and maintain department wiki to aid other team members in efficiently leveraging those information sources
  • Aid successful execution of vehicle benchmarking projects by providing planning, logistics, and execution support
  • Participate in department vehicle benchmarking activities
  • Aid successful execution of Consumer Research projects by providing planning, logistics, and execution support

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Bachelor's degree in appropriate Engineering, Business, or other applicable field of study
  • 1-5 years of experience in budgeting, fleet management, research, industry analysis or other applicable fields

    • Experience with data analysis. Particularly valuable would be experience with: IQS, NVCS, AutoKnowledge, AutoSource, AutoPacific, mTab and secondary research
    • Expert level of PowerPoint. Comfortable with Excel including pivot tables
    • Proven communication skills, report development, coordination of cross-functional teams, and presentation skills


  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
