Henry Ford Hospice Home is the only residence for end-of-life care in Jackson County, offering a peaceful, wooded setting with private rooms, gathering spaces, and palliative care services designed to support patients and their families. Our team ensures patients receive personalized care, pain management, and emotional support in a homelike environment.

As a Nurse Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care, assist in care planning, and respond to emergent situations. You'll play a vital role in upholding our standards of excellence and ensuring the best possible experience for our patients.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

• Under the direction and supervision of the responsible Registered Nurse (RN), performs specific patient care duties to meet safety and comfort needs of the patient.
• Provides input to assist the RN in planning and implementing patient care.
• Responds to emergent situations according to established procedures.
• Recognizes and participates in own continuing education.
• The Nurse Assistant follows the Henry Ford Health System Team Member Standards of Excellence in all interactions.
