What Application Development & Maintenance contributes to Cardinal Health
Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.
Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.
Responsibilities
- Highly experienced in SAP S/4 Pricing and Rebates as aSenior Engineer
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of pricing
- Contract management solutions including rebates within the SAP S/4HANA platform.
- Deep expertise in pricing configurations, contract lifecycle management, and advanced S/4HANA functionalities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and innovative solutions that meet business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in SAP Pricing, with at least 3 years in SAP S/4 environments preferred.
- Proven experience in delivering a SAP S/4 implementation or migration project preferred
- Experience in Conditions Contract management (CCM) and/or Vistex preferred
- Strong knowledge of pricing procedures, condition techniques, and complex pricing scenarios preferred.
- Experience with integration points between pricing, contracts, and other SAP modules preferred (SD, MM, FI/CO).
- Knowledge or previous experience in ABAP and debugging is preferred.
- Proficiency in advanced S/4 features such as FIORI apps, CDS views, and embedded analytics preferred.
