Summary of Job Description:

The CFT Senior Real Estate Investment Analyst supports the executive team by providing recommendations on changes to strategic business plans based on detailed analysis of existing and potential investments for a multibillion-dollar portfolio across the country. This position builds, produces, and maintains a suite of investment reports, including internal and external financial reporting, and periodic investor reporting as the basis for recommendations. The CFT Senior Analyst analyzes the data in these reports to draw conclusions about investment performance and communicates recommendations related to enhancing performance to the Asset Management teams. The CFT Senior Analyst facilitates the annual budget/business planning process and recommends modifications to the annual budget and business plans based on analysis results.

Responsibilities:

  • Produces and maintains portfolio management, asset management, and financial reports for senior management and third parties. Tracks key performance indicators, variance reporting, cash forecasting, capital management, and customized reports. Provides recommendations on changes to the portfolio and other assets based on analyses performed.
  • Monitors performance metrics and all elements of financial performance (i.e., leasing and income generation, management of operating expenses, and capital projects); analyzes financial statements and makes necessary operating adjustments for successful business plan execution. Provides recommendations related to enhancing performance based on analyses performed.
  • Facilitates the annual budget/business planning process and updates property cash flows, valuation models, and portfolio rollups, making recommendations on modifying the annual budget and business plans based on analysis results.
  • Responsible for the analysis, underwriting, due diligence, and investment committee process for new acquisitions and investments.
  • Stays abreast of macro-economic conditions and analysis of property sectors and real estate and economic trends and makes recommendations on investments and any related risks.
  • Establishes and grows a network of external real estate professionals, and develops positive working relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Manages internal tools and completes special projects as assigned.

Qualifications - External

Your background and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field required
  • Minimum five years of relevant work experience, preferably in the real estate or finance.
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay Range: P3: $90,000- $126,500 per year

* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
